- I just bought a used A4000 and want to add a SCSI controller so I can tack
- my Zip drive on. I got a Dataflyer SCSI+ made by Expansion Systems but am
- having no joy with it. After running the installation software my machine
- takes for ever to boot and does not want to know the SCSI. The hard drive
- activity led stays on long after the WB comes up also. Is this normal?
- The machine will not warm boot reset. I have checked all plugs several
- times. The IDE pass through works and runs the IDE hard drive and the IDE
- CDRom drive. Anyone know if Expansion Systems is still alive and if they
- have an email address? Anyone had these sort of problems and found an
- answer? I don't think it is a software incompatibility problem as I have
- cut the contents of the HD down to only the basic WB 3.1. Any aid or
- comfort will be appreciated.
